The $12 million bond issue that Easton Valley voters will consider on November 7 would provide the school district with an opportunity to address some of its facility challenges.
If approved, it would allow for construction of a new fieldhouse and renovation of the existing high school gymnasium to transform it into a performance venue.

There are two community meetings TONIGHT where you can learn more about the proposed $12 million bond issue for the Easton Valley Community School District.
The first session is at Easton Valley Elementary at 5:30pm. The second begins at 7:30pm at Sebula City Hall.
We invite you to attend either session to ask questions and find out more about the district’s space challenges and the proposed solution.

Friday Mrs. Keller’s Introduction to Business class went on a walking field trip to Jackie’s Ice Cream. The students asked great questions about starting, owning, and operating a small business, and as an added bonus got to enjoy some ice cream.
In-person absentee voting is now available for Easton Valley Community School District residents. This can be completed at your County Auditor’s Office through November 6.

Looking to vote absentee by mail in the November 7 election? You have until Monday, October 23 at 5:00pm to request an absentee ballot from your County Auditor’s Office.
All absentee ballots must be submitted by the time polls close on election day to be counted.
An approved bond issue November 7 would provide Easton Valley students with much-needed extracurricular space while keeping the district’s overall levy rate below the $15 per $1,000 of taxable property value pledged by the School Board.

When compared to our conference members, the Easton Valley Community School District has the oldest gymnasiums and among the least amount of square footage. We’re tied for the fewest number of total gyms and practice facilities.
We hope to improve our facilities with a $12 million bond referendum on November 7. If it’s approved, we would construct a new fieldhouse, creating more opportunities for our student athletes to reach their full potential.
