Today Mrs. Sterk’s first grade class spent the day learning with the theme of bats. What better way to end the day by making a “bat” for our snack.

We read the story Brave Little Monster and made monster puppets to retell the story. When we took them home we retold the story there. It was fun!

What a great Homecoming pep assembly and parade! Mrs. Schmidt reviewed the expectations for all students at the football game. Students are not allowed to be past the visitor bleachers and the ambulance. This is to ensure their safety as that area is not well lit. Go River Hawks!
