REMINDER: On Tuesday, residents in the Easton Valley Community School District will vote on a proposed bond issue. If it’s approved, the district will move forward with:
➡️ Construction of a new fieldhouse that will feature competition courts and an indoor track.
➡️ Renovation of the high school gymnasium to become a performance center for the district’s fine arts and music programs.

On November 7, Easton Valley residents will vote on a bond issue. If this received approval from at least 60% of voters, the district will move ahead with a series of facility projects to provide much-needed extracurricular space.

If Easton Valley voters approve the bond issue on Tuesday, November 7, the district’s property taxpayers would see an impact of $22.66 per year ($1.89/month) on a home with an assessed value of $100,000.

Mrs. Keller's 8th Grade Business spent class today learning about the exciting careers of Occupational and Physical Therapy. Carrington and Liz, both from local medical centers, shared many interesting facts about the skills and education needed for their careers. The students really enjoyed the hands-on tools they got to check out.

Free All Community Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by Trenkamp Electric will be Thursday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Miles Presbyterian Church. Carryout or delivery only. Monetary donations may be dropped off at any Clinton National Bank location or mailed to: Trenkamp Electric, PO Box 184, Miles, IA 52064. Free delivery will be available to Sabula, Miles, Preston, & surrounding areas. Call 563-689-4187 by 11/21 to schedule a delivery. If you would like to volunteer to help cook, deliver, or make a donation, please contact Ben or Teri @ 563-689-4187. Students can volunteer to help for their service learning hours.

Easton Valley has made gains with its facilities since 2013, but it still lacks proper extracurricular space. This reality is holding students back from reaching their full potential.
The November 7 bond issue would allow for facility projects that would help our athletics, performing arts, and music programs thrive.
