This past weekend Easton Valley JH/HS performed the musical comedy, Something Rotten, written by John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick. They performed 3 times, Friday and Saturday night, as well as Sunday afternoon. There were 3 seniors involved, Austin Thomson (Nick Bottom), Kiarah Hansen (Bea Bottom), and Blake Reuter (William Shakespeare).
This musical was about the first ever musical being written, while also making fun of William Shakespeare and his famous writings. The title of the musical itself is a reference to a line from a Shakespeare play. With special appearances from Tucker Thomson wearing a dress and a long blonde wig, and Corbyn Budde with his comical and exaggerated performance, the shows were a hit! If anyone cares the food was great, and so was the show. You missed out if you didn’t go!
