Easton Valley Custodian Larry Ehlers is our staff spotlight for this week. He has been working at Easton Valley with us for 2 and a half years. Something that he likes about his job is being able to move around and interact with students and other staff members in the building. Larry coached the JH girl's basketball team this school year. When asked if he enjoyed it he said, “It was a new experience but I enjoyed it aside from the times when kids gave me a hard time.” He will also coach track and would like to coach football if there ever happens to be an opening.
To balance his custodial and coaching career with his personal life he adjusts his time so that he can still hang out with his loved ones. When asked if he had any favorite students, he said Aidan Hute because they were related. There are a few other students who he’s grown closer to over time. Outside of his careers, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He says his greatest accomplishment is being able to own a house. Some hobbies he participates in outside of his job consist of, hunting, camping, and riding motorcycles.
