The annual Easton Valley Boosters Club Cake Auction was held on Friday, January 24th. It’s one of the biggest money-makers of the year for the school district and people flock to get a chance to bid on a cake. The combined total of the live and silent auctions was $15,000; the highest bid went to a live auction cake. It was donated by the Preston Vet Clinic and was adorned with barnyard animals. The Preston Telephone Company bought the cake for a grand total of $1800!
The Boosters Club is appreciative of the community’s support and the money will be used to buy new sports equipment and uniforms for the Easton Valley schools!
