Isaac Feller, junior, and Houston Holdgrafer, sophomore, surveyed the Easton Valley Junior High / High School parking lot before and after school on November 14th and 15th. Their purpose was to record how many students wore their seatbelts as they arrived and left the parking lot and help bring awareness to seatbelt safety.
Houston said he noticed that they saw more wearing their seatbelt as they were leaving school than as they were arriving. He said about 75% of the students wear their seatbelts.
Next week, the Junior High / High school will be having an assembly with the ThinkFast driver safety program.
