Hello Easton Valley Students and Parents,
I spent the summer months getting my MOC endorsement, which has allowed me to become our school Work-Based Learning Coordinator. This has opened up a great opportunity for our EV Seniors.
Starting this Fall, we will be offering a new year-long course called Multi-Occupational Classroom (MOC). I am excited for the real life experiences our students will participate in. This course will help prepare students for life after high school, whether that is entering the workforce, a trade school, community college, or 4-year college.
This course is designed to prepare each student to become a highly effective member of the workforce. Students will investigate careers and workplace expectations as well as other topics including resume building, conflict resolution, money management and ethics. In the first semester students should expect classroom information with the instructor and preparation for a second semester placement in a career field that interests them..
